we are not able to reproduce your problem.
CAN4 is only sending messages, correct?

Please send us an email to "support.peak@hms-networks.com" and describe the commands you use to bring the devices CAN0 and CAN4 up and also the command to bring CAN0 down. Please refer to this topic ...

please send us an email with your devices serial number (printed on the PEAK sticker) and refer to this forum entry.

Addition

The "MiVoice" communication software from Mitel Networks" also prevent the proper working/usage of the portable PCAN-Explorer version.
Please close the "MiVoice" software and then you can use your portable PCAN-Explorer license.

Problem was solved by "formenergy" itself -> error inside the application code

Hi,

please send us your gateways config via email (info.peak@hms-networks.com) and refer to this topis.

Note: The config can be exported into an ini file via the PCAN-Ethernets WebGUI.

Please load the driver with "sudo modprobe pcan" or reboot your PC so that the driver will be loaded automatically.
