Segmentation capabilty
Hello,
Are your PCAN-LIN gateways able to manage segmentation of LIN frames (UDS protocol)? I mean are they able to transfert from and to CAN bus the segmented frames to recreate a longer data contents?

Re: creating a CAN segment in middle of LIN bus
Because for internal reason, we already have our "non electrical transmission kit" and it communicates at the moment only with CAN protocol. All documentation I read before we purchased the parts was about a "CAN / LIN gateway", I've not found any restrictions on its usage. As far I understand, your...

creating a CAN segment in middle of LIN bus
Hello, I'm working on a project to create a CAN segment on a LIN BUS (get a longer distance and have a non electric medium). After a quick serach on Internet, I found your PCAN-LIN gateways and assume they are able to do the job. Now I've the 2 parts and work on a demonstration. It goes quite good f...

Re: PCAN-LIN CT: bug on double clic in Default Data Frame co
Windows7 2 PCANLIN-CT in same time, each one has its own USB/RS232 port and its gateway V3.0.8.141 Gateway CAN to LIN configuration with copy of all frames to RS232. Low bus load as there are 2 frames each 250ms. It looks like a lock due to "RS232" traffic. I'll have to restart the machine and may r...

Identifying several PCAN-LIN on a PC
I've 2 PCAN-LIN attached to my laptop, through USB-RS232 converter, and then 2 PCAN-LIN CT application. Is there a way to identify which instance of application goes to which gateway? The COM port at the bottom of the window can change from one connection to another (USB rules) and, sometimes,batewa...
