Yes, we have an adopted "LIN" since we are not part of the automotive industry. We have a 4-pin connector with GND, LIN, 5V, 12V, whereas the LIN is also 5V.
So it seems, that i need to make an adapter board (5V<->12V)...

Hi,
i received my PLIN-USB today. I created a small adapter from our PCB-Edge-Connector to an female D-Sub Connector. Everything seems fine, but the PLIN View Software says "Bus-Line: Shorted Ground". But there is no obvious short-cut on my adapter? Do i miss somethgin? Our Vbat is about 12 Volt ...
