Re: using slcand to use socketCAN with chardev interface

Hello, You cannot use SocketCAN with the chardev driver variant, it only supports PEAKs Linux APIs. You'll need to use the NetDev variant, here's how you do that: If you want to use SocketCAN, uninstall the current driver (from the peak-driver directory): $ sudo make uninstall Clean up build environ...

Re: How to make 5 Mbps work? or how to change the "SSP offset" for PCAN-USB FD?

Re: PCAN view Listen only Mode

Hello, Most likely your bitrate is incorrectly configured or your temrination is off. Make sure the bitrate is not only the same speed but also uses the same sample point. Also, you should enable error-frames in the trace menu and run a trace, this will tell you more about the error encountered. Bes...

Re: How to detect which Hard-Lock Key Dongle is currently connected

Hello, The LicMngr.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\PCAN-Explorer 6 will be able to show the connected Dongle visually but there is no option to dump that information. Apart from that there is no way to get this info apart from starting up PCAN-Explorer 6 and seeing if another Dongle is requested. Best...

Re: Query slaves

Hello, we do not have such an example, as this would be not really beneficial. When working with a LIN-bus you should be supplied with an LDF file which contains all the necessary information. If you don't have the LDF you should try to aquire because otherweise communcation will be hard to establis...
