Re: pcanview receive filtering and/or sort
I was not aware that the example in PCANBasic contains a whole GUI. It works for me just fine. Thanks!

pcanview receive filtering and/or sort
The pcan-view (pcanview-ncurses) receive tab does not seem to allow sorting by "Rx CAN-ID" column (or by any other column for that matter) and there is no way that I know to just filter the messages I'm interested in. My system has dozens of different messages, making it very difficult to watch the ...

Re: Cannot find device can0
Hi Marvin, Thanks for the explanation. It didn't use to be like that... I used to have both network device can0 and pcan installed. It did cause one problem - if can0 was up then pcanview will notice that it is in use and not allow me to modify setup (such as turning listen-only option on). Maybe th...

Cannot find device can0
I'm using PCAN-USB device with the Linux version of pcan-view and it works fine, but if I try instead to use candump (from can-utils) is claims there is no can0 device. I've checked with ifconfig and with "ip link ls" and there is really no can0 device. I'm using: Ubuntu 20.04 peak-linux-driver-8.18...

Re: Listen-Only mode on Linux stopped working
The PCAN-View I've installed from the provided link shows version 0.9.3-2-gd2f361a and not 0.9.3-53-g5adad75 (as in your post). Just to be sure I removed and reinstalled. uname -a: dcval@dcval-NT2-HP-Z4-G4-Workstation:~/Downloads$ uname -a Linux dcval-NT2-HP-Z4-G4-Workstation 5.15.0-113-generic #123...

Listen-Only mode on Linux stopped working
I've moved my setup to a new system and the Listen Only mode does not seem to work any more. I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 with peak-system USB adapter. The driver version is v8.18.0 and the PCAN-View version is v0.9.3-2-gd2f361a. Without Listen Only option the PCAN-View transmits and traces the messages o...

Re: pcanview in listen-only does not work
Hi Michael, I am using PEAK PCAN-USB adapter. The driver version is 8.15.2 (peak-linux-driver). The pcanview is version "PCANView v0.9.3-2-gd2f361a for pcan driver >= v8.x". There are a few devices on the bus sending, terminating, and receiving messages. The system is working. I want to use the pcan...

pcanview in listen-only does not work
I'm running pcanview on Ubuntu 20.04. When I run it without "listen only mode", with a pcanview.xmt file (with a couple of messages), it works just fine. But - if I enable in settings (during startup) the listen-only mode, with a different device generating messages, the Rx windows remains empty. Wh...
