Hi,
which kind of PCAN hardware could be used, is set in the CAN initialization process of the application. If this application only supports PCAN-USB, there is no option to change the hardware. In that case you need to contact the manufacturer of the software tool.

Re: Adapter on PCAN-USB Pro FD
Hi, PCAN-USB Pro FD is already isolated on the CAN side, so it makes no sense to isolate a second time. Next, the power supply output from the PCAN-USB Pro FD is not able to handle the power of the PCAN-OptoAdapter, so you need external 5Volts to supply PCAN-OptoAdapter if you want a second isolatio...

Re: Connection issue from PC to PCAN-LIN
Hi, if the standard configuration is used, the serial parameters are 38400/8/N/1. But someone could also set a different serial bitrate to the device. What kind of serial connection do you use (USB2Serial or native connection from the PCs mainboard)? Maybe it will be helpfull to contact us by email ...

Re: Connection issue from PC to PCAN-LIN
Hi, "Bäbber" says latest hardware. To disable the scheduler by serial commands, please send 0x02 0x21 0xA4 0x00 0x85 by serial. Then you should be able to connect to the module again with PCAN-LIN CT (close terminal software before and don't reset the module, otherwise the scheduler will start again...

Re: Connection issue from PC to PCAN-LIN
Hi, can you please tell us the serial number (IPEH-xxxxxx yyyyyy) of the PCAN-LIN device, to see which hardware version you are using? Do you have the configuration available with which the device was configured? Possible issue could be that a used scheduler produces more data the serial connection ...

Hallo,

Re: Integration of MATLAB/Simulink with PLIN View Pro for LIN Simulation
Hi,
AFAIK Matlab/Simulink only supports our CAN interfaces at the moment: https://de.mathworks.com/hardware-suppo ... ystem.html
So please contact Mathworks for your request, to check if they also support the PLIN interfaces in the future.
