we received some support requests regarding an issue that the Bosch Rexroth BODAS software won't work on systems on which the latest PEAK-Driver 5.x are installed.
There is an error dialog displayed which tells you "Driver version not supported (needs 3.x):

please do the following steps:
make clean
make
sudo make install
cat /proc/pcan
and send us the output of all commands to see if there are any problems.

Hi,
you can define in PEAK-Settings which of the 6 channels should be used for RP1210. What kind of tool do you use which doesn't work? Please also check that you have installed the latest driver setup with RP1210 option from our support website.

Hi,
if you run the driver in NetDev mode, you can't use the tools from the test directory. Those tools will only work with the chardev driver. Please install can-utils, to have the test tools for SocketCAN/NetDev available (candump, cansend, cansniffer ...)

please start PEAK-Flash as administrator. On some systems, the standard user have no access to USB drives (MSD), which is used during the update process of the PCAN-USB.
