Re: CAN_Initialize and TPCANHandle
Hello, if you use 3 PCAN-USB interfaces (IPEH-002021 for example)then you have 3 CAN-channels -> the first detected device = CAN channel 1 = "PCAN_USBBUS1" -> the second detected device = CAN channel 2 = "PCAN_USBBUSB2" -> third detected device = CAN channel 3 ="PCAN_USBBUS3" handles.JPG It´s also p...

Re: peak-linux-driver_7.15.2 on Xenomai-3.0.1
Hello kevinjz2010,
at the moment only Xenomai 2.x are supported. It´s planned to support Xenomai 3 with the new driver version 8.x but this new driver version must first run stable at Linux.
best regards

Re: How PCAN-USB FD works ?
Hi,
all our PCAN-USB interfaces use an own device driver called "pcan_usb.sys" and no virtual COM port. What do you mean with "Is USB to CAN hardware assigned a address or does enumeration happens ?"?
best regards

Re: 5.1 Gateway CAN-LIN no LIN signals
Hi LIN-Freak, you apply to chapter "5.1 Gateway LIN -CAN" in your post and in this chaper there is no hint to the "0x40". The Offset of "0x40" is only relevant for chapter "5.5 LIN Slave". But you are right, the info is not very precise :? For normal operation as described in chapter 5.1 please use ...

Re: Lin master with schedule table & can routing
Hello, if the PCAN-LIN runs with active master status it´s not possible to transfer CAN-messages to LIN. But the solution is very simpel: you must generate the LIN master header via CAN. Set the "Master status" to "inactive", delete the "scheduler list" and send the LIN master header (master frame) ...

Re: Sending CAN messages under Win10 fails
Hello,
please verify that your PCAN-USB interface is set as "active device" in the "CAN-Hardware" icon (you find the CAN-Hardware icon in the control panel) and that you also add a net to the USB-interface regards

Re: The Size of Receive Queue, and Operating Principle
Hello Joshua,
the CAN hardware (PCAN-USB or PCAN-PCI for example) has a receive buffer with 64byte (FIFO), the receive and transmit buffer from the driver has a default size of 32768 messages.
