Do you use any USB extension cables or unpowered USB hubs between PCAN-USB FD and your PC? What kind of PC is used? Can you please use an external powered USB hub for a test.
Please also post the output of "dmseg |grep pcan" to see the firmware version of the device.

do you have that new PI module already in use? Do you have any issues with it? If so, please post the problems to be able to help you. We don't have such a module available at the moment.

Hi,
you could use an external powered USB hub, if your PC is not able to handle 5 PCAN-USB modules at the same time. But this is depending on your PC and the used USB hostcontroller of that system.
