OBD type

Hello all, please tell me how to find out what type of OBD is used in my car?
I know you can find out from the year of the car, but how to determine this and how accurate is it?
I would appreciate any help!

It is not difficult to find out, until 1994 was used type OBD1, after 1996 - OBD2 and in between was a transitional period, in which both versions were used.
