PCAN Router Pro FD files accessing while Tracer is ON

Hello Team PEAK,

I am testing the PCAN Router PRO FD FTP and WebSocket functionalities. I have the below questions;

1. Can we change the functionality (using firmware development) of accessing the recorded files via FTP while the Tracer is ON ??

2. Can we change the functionality (using firmware development) of accessing the recorded files via USB C while the Tracer is ON ??

With the delivered data logger firmware you are not able to have access to the memory while the logger is running.
The access to memory controller could not be done by USB AND the main controller at the same time.
USB access AND Data logging at the same time will never be possible.
The FTP Access is limited by our Firmware, because it will not be possible to handle the 6 CAN FD channels with max. busload, at max. speed, while a FTP Session is running in the background.
Maybe if you use a slower bandwidth / less channels etc. it could be possible.
Our focus was to be sure that we do not loose any Data when logging. So you need to stop the logger and could then transfer by FTP.

If you will be able to do this with a own firmware is up to your programming skills, and the CPU load you create with your own logger software.
A general statement is unfortunately not possible, that it depends on your requirements.
