Termination needed?

I am connecting directly PCan-USB adaptor to the subd9 connector in the only other node of the CAN network.
If there is not actually a bus cable, do I need to solder the pins inside the adaptor card?

Hello,

yes, a CAN Bus system needs a termination. So when your other CAN node is not terminated, you have to implement a termination resistor in your CAN lines.
