Hi stephane,

yes, immediately after sending CAN FD Frame ( cansend can0 123##1DEADBEEFDEADBEEF) and listening on the other interface( candump can1 ) leads to error in transmission with Red led's blinking

below is the results of the command you said:

Hi,

please check the used CAN cables. Looks like the termination resistors are missing on boths ends. Then it could work with lower bitrates, but won´t work with higher bitrates or FD.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Thanks a lot for the information.
Everything works fine after adding termination resistors in the CAN cable.

Hi jibinkurian1246,

Did you use 2 different terminals for cansend and candump?

Why i am asking is even i face the same issue what you faced, i have set the correct baudrate for my CANFD, after sending message via cansend, i dont see any traffic over any channel with candump command.

another thing i want to know about the connections, from my board i have 3 DB9 connectors out of which one i use for power supply, how do i use the other 2 connectors so that i can see my CAN traffic on candump.

I am new to CAN and Linux platform

Thanks for the useful info on this page.

Hi Prasad,

which CAN hardware from PEAK do you use? Please post output of "ip link ls" and "cat /proc/pcan"

Hi,

well...this is a PEAK-System Forum, where we discuss all issues related to PEAK products. So I don't think that you will get an answers for your problem with your board. But if you want to have a working system, you can use one of our PCAN products and connect it to your board 8-)
