"Eternal" bit rate detection - how to cancel?

Hi,
during bit rate detection, I disconnected the PCAN-Diag FD from the CAN line. Now it stays in the bit rate detection perhaps since half an hour.
I tried to connect it again to the CAN bus, but BusMaster shows me only CAN bus errors (as did before... This is why I wanted to use PCAN-Diag FD), and PCAN-Diag doesn´t react yet...
The display seems to be frozen: e.g. when I unplug the power supply, I see anyway in the top line the "power plugged in" symbol.
Is there the possibility to reset the device e.g. via a factory reset button or something? It doesn´t react to any buttons I press so far...

Could you please give us more information. In the Settings - Detect CAN Bitrate - you could select what exact you like to detect (CAN 2.0, CAN-FD ISO, CAN-FD non-ISO)
Which Settings do you use? We need to reproduce the problem here in our office. Normally the Right Button (4* --> Exit ) could be used to Exit the Scan.
Everytime you press exit, a scan algorithm is stopped - see counter on screen.
Please also send us the Serial Number, and the Firmware Version if you know it (i know, if the Device do not work, you could not read it - but maybe you know it)

Hallo,
ich hatte gestern das gleiche Problem. Bei suchen der Bitrate hat sich der PCAN-Diag aufgehangen und ließ sich nicht mehr bedienen. Ich musste warten bis der Akku leer war und das Gerät neu zu starten. Gibt es eine Tastenkombination um das Gerät zum Neustart zu zwingen? Gibt es andere Lösungsansätze?

Das Problem ist bekannt und es gibt bereits einen Fix dafür
Wir werden diese Version demnächst releasen - senden Sie uns bitte eine E-mail an support[at]peak-system.com, wir werden Ihnen die neue Firmware dann vorab bereitstellen.

Um ein PCAN-Diag auszuschalten das nicht mehr reagiert, müssen Sei nicht warten bis die Akkus kleer sind.
Betätigen Sie den Drehknopf (drücken) und halten diesen für >10 Sekunden, dann wird die Selbsthaltung hart über ein Relais ausgeschaltet und das Gerät ist Stromlos.
Es kann dann jederzeit wieder normal eingeschaltet werden.
