On PCAN-Diag FD, Should there be decode information in the scope view when a symbol file has been associated.

When no symbol file is associated in project, the Scope RX view does show the received data decoded and information about the received message. If I add a symbol file to the project, it transfers fine and I see the symbol representations in the "View CAN as Symbols" option - the scope however, has no decode information. How do I see decode info when a symbol file is in the project?

The Layer 1 mode (Scope) decode the Bit Stream in a readable CAN Layer 2 Format only. (ID, DLC, Data Bytes, and all other needed Bits)
A decoding in Layer 7 (Signal based) is in this mode not possible. Symbol File decoding is only possible in the Layer 2 (CAN) when send/receive real CAN Frames.

Fair enough. After a day playing with and learning the tool that was my only question. Nice product.
