Peak does not enter into bootloader mode when Detect button is pressed

Post by AEurin » Fri 23. Aug 2024, 11:23

Hello,

I have a few PCAN Routers.

Some of them work normally and are detected automatically by the Peak Flash tool after the first flash.
But for others, when I press the Detect button in Peak Flash, the device does not enter automatically into bootloader mode. I need to disconnect the power supply, push the log off card button and re-connect the power supply.
This can be problematic because the router is not always accessible as we are working on vehicles.

Is there a way to solve this issue?
Thanks

Hello,

Please check if the used firmware has the bootloader sequence included, otherwise this detect will fail to raise the device into bootloader! Please check example 07_PEAK_FLASH to see the implementation of this and make sure your firmware includes this.
