Configure a switch signal (0V or 5V) output for PCAN-MIO

Post by yhadad » Thu 20. Dec 2018, 04:25

Hi,

I have setup my PCAN-MIO with PCAN-USB in order to use PPCAN-Editor 2 to start configuring PCAN-MIO to have an output of 5V. I am currently using PIN 18 (GND) and PIN 19 (5V Out). I have successfully configured it to have an output of 5V continuously but now I need to configure it to have a signal where I can input a value of 0 = 0V or 1 =5V. I intend to use that signal in PCAN-Explorer 6 in the transmit window and then be able to change the value from 0 to 1.

Can someone please show me how to do that. I have looked at the tutorial in the DVD-tools-menu but have not had much luck. Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Yousif

Hi Yousif,

i can´t really understand your problem, exercise 2e shows the necessary steps

Please follow the exercises 2a, 2b and 2e and it will work, all steps are explained.
Should we send you the matching PCAN-MIO configuration?

I´m not really willing to do this because it look that you are very fast with writing some posts inside this forum if something of your project can´t be solved in the first try by yourself.

regards
Gunther
