I´m developing a sniffer application for LIN frames. The solution that I found for Ubuntu is using sllin kernel patch for mapping LIN frames to CAN frames throught TTY. As PEAK-CAN USB Pro has LIN interface I want to use this capability in Windows. I was looking for some examples in your documentation but I couldn´t find helpful information .
Is there any way to read LIN frames in Linux with PEAK CAN USB pro?
Thanks in advance
For Windows you have the PLIN API, a dynamic library tha supports you by doing LIN communication with the PCAN-USB Pro (no longer manufactured!) and PCAN-USB Pro FD devices.CarlosMardones wrote:As PEAK-CAN USB Pro has LIN interface I want to use this capability in Windows.
You should have a package with PDF and Online-Help (.chm) documentation, explaning all API functions and LIN logic, as well as several Sample-Projects: Those examples generates an exe which let you test most capabilities of a PLIN channel; it looks like this: If you don't have these project samples, you can download this from our Website. Check the tab "Downloads" and look for PLIN-APICarlosMardones wrote: I was looking for some examples in your documentation but I couldn´t find helpful information .
Thanks a lot and sorry for my mistake.
