PCANbasic with basic C in windows, (not C++ neither C#)

Hello,
I'm using a software developed in C on windows10. to make calculations in my software, I want to read in real time data from the machine CAN bus.
I see the data from the CAN bus with PCAN view but I don't manage to use PCANbasic to get them in real time in my C software.
Is PCANbasic suitable for C (not C++ neither C#) in windows10?
Do you have programming example to read data?
