I am trying to use the PCAN-LIN to communicate with the serial RS232. The procedure in the document attached in one of the earlier threads is helpful if we are using the PCAN-LIN CT or any other Serial communication software.
However, I am trying to use the Labview API for PLIN which might not support detecting the PCAN-LIN as it is not detected by the PLIN API.
My question is, is there a way to configure the PCAN-LIN such that it is detected by the PLIN API?

Hi,
the PCAN-LIN module will be configured by serial commands. It is not supported by the PLIN-API. Only the PC Interfaces PCAN-USB-Pro FD and PLIN-USB are supported by the PLIN-API.
As long as you are able to send serial commands through LabView, I see no problem to handle the PCAN-LIN with that software tool. Have a look on the following post for more details on how to use PCAN-LIN by serial commands:
