Hi!
I've built a logging system for testing purposes using a pi4. I would like to sniff and log the cans us at the same time, but for our less technical colleagues I would prefer a grafical interface like pcan view for windows.
Is pcan view available for arm processors or is their a recommend alternative?
I got the pcan USB adapter up and running with drivers.

If you use our CharDev Linux Driver on your RPI4 with the PCAN-USB, you could use the PCAN-View for Linux

Hi! I've been off from surgery, so late answer..
The apt-key is obsolete so the guide you refer to is no longer valid. I'm not savvy enough in the world of Linux to go around the issue unfortunately. Spent several hours trying to install it..

Hi,
apt-key is deprecated but not obsolete. Installing pcanview-ncurses from PEAK-System repository, following the steps that are described at http://www.peak-system.com/fileadmin/me ... /index.htm, is still possible from Ubuntu 22.04 and works.
Could you please share with us the different steps you do from your own system and the "error" messages they produce?
Thank you and regards,

Well, today I did not get a bunch of errors and it actually installed. How weird..S.Grosjean wrote: ↑Wed 22. Jun 2022, 09:19Hi,

Works perfectly fine!
I literally spent hours trying to get it installed when I posted this thread..
Where can I find saved traces btw? The plan is to log the can-communication of battery chargers while using picolog to log the electrical part.
