Hello,
I sporadically get CAN_ERR_CRTL_RX_OVERFLOW from PCAN-USB and PCAN-USB FD.
My setup:
VirtualBox 6.1.34 r150636 (latest) with Ubuntu 16.04 guest
PCAN-USB FD passed to VirtualBox and seen as can0 in Ubuntu
PCAN-USB connected to Windows10 host
PCAN-USB FD connected to PCAN-USB to form the CAN bus
An application on Windows is communicating with another application on Ubuntu via CANopen stack.
I often get CAN_ERR_CRTL_RX_OVERFLOW error but in varying time intervals and conditions.
Anyone else with similar problem?

Hi,
this issue could be a VM related problem. Sure you have installed all guest extensions on your VM? As a test, please use a real Linux system and also use a newer Ubuntu system (22.04 or 20.04), to have the latest SocketCAN driver available.
regards
Michael
