Change of the channels order with 2 PCAN-miniPCIe FD
Hello,
I have two PCAN-miniPCIe FD connected in a axiomtek. The axiomtek detect the two miniPCIe correctly but the channels order change aleatorialy when i restart the axiomtek.
If the first PCAN-miniPCI have CAN1 CAN2 CAN3 and CAN4 and the second PCAN-miniPCI CAN5, CAN6, CAN7 and CAN8, sometimes, using pcanview i can see the order CAN1 CAN2 CAN3 CAN4, CAN5, CAN6, CAN7 and CAN8.
Other times i can see the order CAN5, CAN6, CAN7, CAN8, CAN1 CAN2 CAN3 and CAN4.
This is a important problem for me because i work with the channel number.
¿could someone help me with that?
Thanks, Ander

Re: Change of the channels order with 2 PCAN-miniPCIe FD
Thanks U.Wilhelm,
I have tried to define the Device ID in the miniPCIe but i do not see the option:
On the other hand, i can see how to change the device id at a peak:
Is there any way to define the identifier in the miniPCIe?
Or is there any other way to fix the order of the channels?
Thanks
best regards
Ander

Re: Change of the channels order with 2 PCAN-miniPCIe FD
Thanks U.Wilhelm,
I try to follow the steps of the link but it seems I do something wrong.
I'm using PCAN-miniPCIe FD:
(0x118 = PCAN-miniPCIe FD)
And I can see the following configuration:
I have configured the regedit:
But when I restart the PC I see the channels without configuring:
Am I getting confused in some step?
Thanks
best regards
Ander

Re: Change of the channels order with 2 PCAN-miniPCIe FD
Hi,
As you can see in the picture that I attached about CAN Hardware I am using PCAN-miniPCIe FD.
In the list that references it says that for PCAN-miniPCIe FD i need 0x118. However I tested with 0x119 and it has not worked.
Could I have made a mistake in another step?
Thanks
