Problems about PassThru Connecting to CAN

Post by jworker » Mon 10. Dec 2018, 06:29

Dear Managers:
I'm sorry to have taken up your valuable time.
I have some problems when I calling the PassThruAPI -> PassThruConnect, It never works properly. The function takes five parameters, it is not only different with SAE J2534_1_201510 but also SAE J2534_200202. I don't have a clue that this function is implemented from which standard.
and does PEAK provide interfaces that implement J2534_1_201510 standards or some other exact version PassThruAPI.
My office computer is Windows7 64-bit, and I am using 32-bit DLLs.

Thank you, with my best regards.

Hello,
PLEASE NOTE: Don't post question twice! This will not speed up an answer.
The current version of PassThru is using the standard revision from 2004.

Our devices support CAN and CAN-FD. The support for high layer protocols is done over APIs. The PassThru API offered by PEAK is following the specifications of the SAE document J2534_1_2004-xx.pdf
