Plotter Add-in how to display fixed scale

Hello everybody,

I'm failrly new to PC-CAN explorer, but to me, for the price, it is a very valuable tool. Still I'm struggling a bit with the concept and I can't do the following:
I'd like to apply a "fixed-scale" for the display of my channels in the plotter. I tried to set Min and Span in the Y-Axis properties of my channels, but it seems that when I start a new recording, the Y-Axis "autofit" the scale of the signals. Similarly, when I zoom, I'm unable to get back to my base Min and Span settings. Is there a way to force this?

Thank you,

Olivier

Hello,

to prevent the Plotter from changing your Y-axis settings, disable the auto-enabling of the Y-axes tracking:

There is currently no way to force the plotter to go back to your original scale settings after zooming if you disable the Y-axis tracking. Usually, when you zoom and scroll during a recording, the Y-axis tracking is automatically disabled. When you then activate the tracking again e.g. by clicking on the green arrow 'Resume Tracking' button on the toolbar, the previous (before zooming) axis settings are restored. But there is no command to manually go back to these saved scale settings.
You could write and run a VBS macro to restore the axis scale to fixed values. If you're interested, I can help you with that.
