How to rename or create net?

Hi,

I am new to PCAN viewer and Peak CAN systems, (so this might be a newb error) however I am trying to setup a machine over a PCAN-USB device, and it requires that I create a specific Net during setup. However I cannot see any options to do that from the PCAN viewer software;

My understanding was that this was done using the netconfig tool, but that doesn't seem to support the version of PCAN-USB that I have;

Is there a specific version of netconfig that will support the PCAN-USB device?

Alternatively, is this something I can do with the PCAN basic API or a 3rd party utility?

Thanks,
Tom H

Ah, I found the option to change USB to active device, and now I can add nets in the netconfig panel.

If you need only the PCAN-View, you do not need any NET - if you use PCAN-Explorer 3/4/5 or some custom software, you have to create the NET for each device type. If you use PEAK-System Software, the new Software include updated Tools where you could select the active Device also in the NetCfg Tool. If you use older Tools, you need to switch manualy or by software (API) the actice device. (Maybe ask the SW company if the have a new update available)
