"Thread Error: Invalid Handle (6)"

Post by developer » Thu 7. Apr 2016, 16:00

Hey folks,

I am working on a Panel generator using a VBS Macro.
I have a main loop where I check whether the panel is in run mode. If it is in run mode I calculate some values and check whether my generated control boxes have new values and so on.

It is working very well but when I have my Panel window open and I switch the run mode from development mode to run mode or vice versa Windows gives me an Error message : "Thread Error: Invalid Handle (6)".

Nothing really crashes but I don't want such an error pop up each time I switch the mode.
Do you have any idea to prevent this error?

Another weird thing is that it doesn't pop up every time but rather every second or third time. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I am in developing mode or run mode though.

Thank you in advance,

developer
