When connecting USB-CAN hardware (PCAN-USB, PCAN-USB ISO, PCAN-USB Pro) at USB3.0 ports please take care that you are use the newest BIOS and USB3.0 driver (inclusive current USB3.0 firmware) for your PC. USB3.0 is a "new" technology and older drivers are still buggy

The available USB3.0 drivers from the PC manufactures website are often not up to date. Sometimes it´s better to look at the chipset manufactures website (for example http://downloadcenter.intel.com and "USB 3.0" as keyword) for newer versions.

Note: The current driver version (21.07.2011) of the widely spreaded Renesas (former NEC) uPD720200(a) is version 2.1.19.
