Cannot select J1939 Protocol for connections

I am unable to select J1939 as a protocol for my connections, despite having the J1939 plug-in for PCAN Explorer 5 installed. I am running PCAN Explorer Version 5.4.0.877 on a Windows 7 OS and can clearly see the CANdb Import and J1939 plug-ins marked with Yes on the License Information screen. However, when I go to the properties on a connection, under the Protocol drop down, my only option is CAN. How do I get J1939 to show up in the Protocol drop down for connections? Updating is not an option. Thank you for your time!

Hi,

please send an email with your license number to our support address. Please also send us a screenshot of the Add-In Manager (Tools Add-In Manager).

best regards

Michael

Hi Michael,

Actually, just looking at the Tools -> Add-In Manager, I realized that the J1939 add-in wasn't enabled. I hadn't known the Add-In Manager existed, so you just solved my problem. Thank you so much!
