I have purchased PCAN USB hardware for my project. I installed PCAN view tool so in tool itself my CAN USB hardware is not detecting. Please help me with this. Do I need to install any other software?

did you install the driver with the driver setup PeakOemDrv.exe? What is displayed in the device manager of Windows?

I have the same problem and I did install the driver but I connected the device before I installed the driver. Device Manager lists the driver as from FTDI.

Please also tell us the serial-number of your device.

Hi there,

seems like I have a similar issue.

Using IPEH-002022 with a SN > 200000

When connecting to USB on my laptop, the LED blinks red once for a very short time. Afterwards: nothing.
The device manager does not show any changes. No device is listed in PCAN-View.

When I connect the 2 Channel USB-Pro box, the LEDs shine brightly green and stay on. The device pops up in the device manager and can be used in PCAN-View.

Any clues what might be my issue here?

Does the same behaviour manifest on another PC with your PCAN-USB ?

Have you tried other USB-ports, does the behaviour change?

yes it's the same on at least two computers. Changing USB-Ports does not help.
