Hi everybody,
We used PCAN-EXPLORER to read all the value of the ECU and to configure the output thanks to the Intrument Panel of PCAN-EXPLORER.
We have 8 scenes like this one :
When the ECU send all the value on the CAN-BUS, the instrument panel isn't refresh properly and we can't use all the cursor : See
This configuration is for test only and the Bus-Load is 85%.
If I disconnect the ECU or if I put the CAN-BUS on listen only mode, the refreshment of the panel is fine.
How can I resolve the refreshment problem ?
-I can't decrease the number or the cycle time of the message.
-I may pass the CAN-BUS at 1Mbit/s ? (it's not so easy)
-I may increase the quantity of the RAM of my computer?
- Another way?
The processor of the computer is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU and 8GB of RAM and the version 6.4.0 of PCAN-EXPORER.
Thank You,
Bus Load and panel refresh

Re: Bus Load and panel refresh
Hello,
Thank you for your request.
Please check the following:
Is the option "Update Frame Rate" set to "automatic"?
If yes you should disable this option, if there is a high amount of Signals that
it represented by your Instruments-Panel this could lead to perfomace issues and
GUI freezes, this is also mentioned in the Instruments-Panel help (F1):
Please report back to us, if this has solved your issue.
Best Regards
Marvin

Hi Marvin,
Thank you for your quick reply.
It's works with a lower frame rate (~5Hz).

Have a good week
