Hello Peak Forums,

I am working on a project using PCAN-USB X6.

Is it possible to disable transmission from the unit on hardware level?

I do know how to set the unit into passive mode (listen-only), but I am looking to prevent tampering as much as possible.

Hi,

there is no direct hardware option available to prevent transmitting, but you can modify the transceiver module by lifting the CAN TX pin to disable transmitting on hardware level (good soldering tools necessary!).
