PCAN-trace doesn't start at home

Hi,
I purchased PCAN-trace a couple off years ago and used it in the office an at the home-office. Since a few months the program doesn't start anymore at home, but it still works in office. Our company has done a lot in the field of internet security (Malwarebytes, ZScaler, Forticlient), and my guess is that this the problem.
Does PCAN-trace check the license over IP at start-up of the program?

Hello,
PCAN-Tace is a single-user license, this grants you installation
on
one System, this is also explicitely stated in the EULA
that you confirmed upon installation:
2. END USER RIGHTS AND USE
PEAK grants to You a non-exclusive, non-transferable end user license right to install the Software on the local hard disk(s) or other permanent storage media of one computer and use the Software on a single computer or terminal at a time.
This is a violation of our license-agreement.
Uninstall the software from one of these PCs.
If you want to use two PCs, make sure you have two valid licenses.

Sorry, I didn't mention that I installed the software on my laptop. When I take the laptop to my home it doesn't work.

Hi,
Okay misunderstanding on my part in this case, pardon me.
Can you describe a little more on how PCAN-Trace doesnt start?
Do you at least see the icon for it or is it visible in Task-Manager?

Hi,
An taskbar button appears on the taskbar but no window. When I hoover over this button I can see a small example of an empty window.
The Task Manager shows a "PCAN Message Tracer (32 bit)" with 0% CPU,Network and Disk.

Hi,
Then most likely the Window is just out of bounds.
i guess you use a multi-monitor setup at work.
Try the following:
Will the window be back on the mainscreen if your right click your taskbar
and select "cascade windows?"

Cascading the windows also didn't work, but right-click on the button preview and the selecting "move" did work!!
I'm using multiple monitors on my work and at home, but different setup. Every other program starts-up on an active monitor except for PCAN-trace
