Hi,

I am new to peak system and I am trying to research about CAN messages data logging and playback using PCAN-Trace. So, what I understood so far is that in order to playback on the bus, we cannot do with PCAN-View. AM I correct? And is PCAN-Trace hardware dependent? Can I use PCAN-USB with PCAN-Trace?

Hi,

yes, PCAN-View don't offer a replay functionality. The optional available software tools PCAN-Explorer 6 and PCAN-Trace offers a replay of trace files. PCAN-Explorer 6 and PCAN-Trace will work with any PCAN PC interface, however PCAN-Trace only supports CAN 2.0a/b. If you work with CAN FD, PCAN-Explorer 6 will be the better tool for your needs.
