How many pcan-usb can be connected to one pc?

Hi,

the driver 4.x supports up to 64 channels, the API from the PCAN-Developer 4 package supports up to 64 channels, the free available PCANBasic API supports up to 16 channels.

I need to use 5 PCAN-USB. Is there any problem with USB power in this case? Please advise for stable use.

Hi,

you could use an external powered USB hub, if your PC is not able to handle 5 PCAN-USB modules at the same time. But this is depending on your PC and the used USB hostcontroller of that system.
