PCAN Exlorer 6 Trace/Symbol files

I am relatively new to CAN technology and trying to learn a lot of this on my own and was hoping someone could help me with an issue i am currently having with the PCAN Explorer 6 Software.
I have bought PCAN Explorer 6, the J1939 Add in, and the Candb import add in. I also own a PCAN Diag FD, PCAN USB, and CSS Electronics CANedge1.
The issue i am having is that when i am review a trace file that was captured with the Diag FD or CAN edge1, and i use my custom symbol file. I dont believe of the PGNs are being recognized as multipacket even though i have confirmed with the symbol editor that multipacket is checked and the data layout all looks correct.
Can someone please help point me in the right direction. I have attached a couple screen shots.

Hi,
when you use a trace from a PCAN-Diag, the trace only contents the raw CAN messages. To get the J1939 multipacket message of this raw CAN data, please use the "J1939 Reassemble J1939 TP Packets" in the Filter Options of the Tracer :

Thank you for your help, I tried your suggestion but the data still isnt presenting as expected. I am looking for a check engine light that was intentionally triggered during the trace recording, when i play back the recording to a display the check engine light turns on as it should.
The NMEA 2000 DBC file i am using was purchased from CSS Electronics so I believe that should be prepared correctly and its more likely something I am still doing wrong.
Attached is another screenshot

NMEA2000 use a differnet Transport Protocol for fragmented Messages - so you could not use our PCAN-Explorer 6 with NMEA2000
That could not work - and J1939 is not NMEA2000 - check protocol specification of both High Layer Prtocols.
Both protocols use some identical definitions / declarations - but are not compatible. And a simple CANdb works only if the PGN/SPN is transported in a non fragmented frame.
There are real NMEA2000 Analyzers on the marked available. Maybe you check the NMEA Diag Tool that is available from here
link
it is a OEM Version of our PCAN-Diag FD including a full compliant NMEA2000 software stack and database.

Thank you for your help.
Learning a lot about all of this and I believe i am starting to understand the issue that im having.
There may not be any plans but still hope you will consider adding support for NMEA 2000 in the future.

Thank you for the feedback. Yes, in the next generation of PCAN-Explorer we will also intergrate the NMEA2000 fragemented protocol.
Will be available end of 2023.

Is the next gen PCAN Explorer still on schedule for end of 2023?
