Garbage in Trace file

Hi,
I am using PCAN-Basic API to log CAN data in Segmented File Mode. Few of the trace files generated show garbage data. Any clue why this happens would be helpful.

please let us know the PCAN-Basic API version, programming language and operating system you are using.

Hello,
first, you are using a very old version (it is from 2019). The current PCAN-Basic version is 4.6.1. Please try again using this version and let us know if the problem is still there. You can downlaod the latest version using this
link.
second, please deactivate the "show all characters" option within your text editor, so we can see better which data is being shown in the file.
