My company is trying to find a solution to be able to send CANFD data frames from an imported (pre-recorded) file such as CSV from a Windows PC to an embedded target. We are looking at CAN USB FD Adapter (GC-CAN-USB-FD) product. Can this hardware adapter and PCAN-view software allow us to import real vehicle CAN data from a file to be "played back" over the local CAN network?

PCAN-View doesn't offer to replay trace files. It could only generate trace files. For replaying CAN-FD trace files, the PCAN-Explorer 6 software could be used:

Does PCAN-Explorer 6 software support CAN USB FD Adapter (GC-CAN-USB-FD) hardware?

Our Software Support only our CAN-Hardware or OEM Hardware. Gridconnect is a sales partner in the US and they sell also our CAN-USB Interfaces - also the PCAN-USB FD.
Please contact them directly what their part number "GC-CAN-USB-FD" exactly is - as far as we know they also sell a cheap serial port based CAN-FD Interface - which could definitally not work with our Tools.
If it is a PEAK-System Interface, yes it will work with PE6 - as all PEAK-System CAN Interface / Adapters for the PC works with our Tools.

Hi Brandon,

no, only the first link is a PCAN Hardware (PCAN-USB FD), which will work with PCAN-Explorer 6. The second link is not a PCAN hardware and will not work with PCAN-Explorer 6. Please contact GridConnect for more details.
