When I flash a PCAN-Router Pro FD, I get an option at the end of the flash to reset the module (the Peak-Flash software sends out message 0x7E7 with data 7F FF 00 0F 55 to reset)

When I flash a PCAN-Router FD, there is no option to perform a reset at the end of the flash and I need to turn off power to the device to reset it.

I have noticed that if I manually send the reset message to the PCAN-Router FD that it will respond and reset. Is there a reason why this button is missing from the Peak-Flash page or something in my configuration or code that I need to change to enable it?

Hello Scott,

Does this change after waiting or does it remain without the option indefinitely?

Sometimes the flash procedure will be at 100% but won't give options right away.

Hello Marvin,

It remains without the option indefinitely. The message at the end of the flash is even different between the two modules.

The message at the end of the Router Pro FD flash mentions the button to reset:

The message at the end of the Router FD flash has no mention of the button and says to cycle power:

Hello Scott,

Apparently the application restricts this, which of course is not intentional and will be fixed.
We'll update PEAK-Flash and will allow resetting of more hardware (including the PCAN-Router FD) after the flash procedure with the next update.

Best Regards
