Re: Instruments panel export

Hello, This is not possible. A Export of the Instruments-Panel as an executable does not exist. PCAN-Explorer 6 will require the Instruments-Panel AddIn to open Instruments-Panel. A PCAN-Explorer 6 AddIn can be purchased at any time, although a "restricted" version of the instruments-Panel is not av...

Re: PCAN-M.2 CAN errors in combination with a IFM RM9000

Hello, The PCAN-M.2 is a FD-capable device, whereas the PCAN-USB only supports CAN2.0. Both devices use different CAN-Controllers which have different default configurations for 500kbit/s sp 0.875 under SocketCAN. As you noticed the same configuration can be applied to the PCAN-M.2 as well in case t...

Re: different symbols on the same can-id

Hello,

Symbols need to be unique within a symbol file.

However, if you are using two CAN-buses at the same time, you can also work with two independent connections and assign a different symbol to each of them.

This way you can assign two different symbols to the same ID.

Re: PCAN-M.2 CAN errors in combination with a IFM RM9000

Hello, Please check if your CANopen nodes use internal termination and if your bus is over-terminated, perhaps. Furthermore, does this error also occur if two Socket-Can nodes (one of them being the PCAN-M.2) are communicating with each other? Please report back to me regarding this. Best Regards Ma...

Re: PEAK-GPS: Looking for 10hz @ 667k baudrate

Hello, if you need to change the IDs to extended IDs then yes, you'll have to change the message type of the transmit-message as well. Please keep in mind that all changes neeed to be applied to the symbol/dbc file as well. We can send you a dbc-version of the delivery sym file, in case you are able...
