The transceiver (PCA82651) went out on one of my 2021's so I have to replace it... I was thinking about upgrading from the NXP-PCA82651 to their TJA1040 or TJA1050, as described in their Upgrade Application Note. Has anyone tried this or know of a reason this isn't a good idea? Does the 2021 require ...

Would the over-voltage have to come from the module side or from the USB? we just had this happen and trying to determine the cause so we can implement some preventative measures. Thanks!
