I am using the PCAN Basic API with a USB adaptor which is working just fine, however I would like to
connect to a second CAN bus with a second adaptor running in the same Application software ,I would like to use the Application software as a gateway between the 2 systems
is this possible to do or ...

When you don't have a database file (*.dbc) from the car manufacturer it will be a "try and error" work to find the right messages for controlling the different modules. Good luck!

I can only aggree with this ,you will spend many hours and if you are very lucky you will have 20% of what is ...

Normally when you have a problem in the bus itself (electrically )or you have a node that is running at the incorrect baud rate or such things will give the error Bus heavy as the CAN controller can not detect the messages and the number of messages there for it is an indication that the bus is over ...

We are working with a company on a vehicle project and their components CAN data is described in an EDS file,do you know this format and can it be imported to Explorer as the .dbc files from vector,
I suspect that the EDS format also comes from Vector ?

I have created an application in VB.Net using the Basic API,
I am not sure when I create the installer in Visual studio does this now include the Basic dll and
will the installer install the dll automatically ...
