Dear Team
We are working with a company on a vehicle project and their components CAN data is described in an EDS file,do you know this format and can it be imported to Explorer as the .dbc files from vector,
I suspect that the EDS format also comes from Vector ?

Hi,
an EDS file is a CAN-Open file format that describes the communication behaviour and the object dictionary entries of a CAN Open device. PCAN-Explorer 5 does not have a special CAN-Open Add-In at the moment, thats why it doesn't support to import those files.
The software PCANOpenMagic Pro from ESAcademy offers an EDS file import. This software will also work with PEAK CAN hardware.
regards
Michael
