loopback

Post by novak » Sat 22. Feb 2020, 18:44

Hello all,
now I'm using PCAN USB PRO FD.

I'm not familiar with pcan view /plin view. Could you please provide me help how to make some kind of connection between LIN1-LIN2 and/OR CAN1-CAN2 with pcan-view and plin-view? I have tried a lot of master/slave/send/receive possibilities without success.

The CAN1/LIN1 is connected to CAN2/LIN2 with straight ribbon cable (pin1 connected to pin1, and so on)

thanks in advice

Best Regards
Jindrich

RTFM !!! :o)

... For the lin operation an additional supply voltage must be applied to the Vbat-lin (8-18V). Both LIN connections need their own supply.

Hi,

yes, this is correct for LIN connections between both ports. For CAN you only need a terminated CAN cable with 120 Ohms on both ends between CAN-L and CAN-H
