PCAN/USB in use by another process
I'm using PCAN Basic in a windows application. In the event of a crash, or maybe an improper shutdown, The USB adapter stays "in use", LED flashing, and I can not seem to unlock the device and resume short of restarting windows. Is there a hard reset I can do from 1) my app; 2) windows; 3) PCANview; or 4) somewhere else?

If you use the latest Driver Setup, in the Control panel APP you find a TAB to "delete" the open connection from your crashed Application to the driver. See also this thread: LINK
