Starting with Pcan explorer 5 instrument panel

Post by davidsoco » Mon 1. Oct 2012, 21:06

Hello,

I start to work with Pcan explorer and in particular the Instrument panel Add-in.

I have a good view of what I want to do with the tool (I worked in the past with Vector tools) :

- Panels to send Canopen SDO messages, when clicking on a button
- Heartbeat simulation
- Nmt simulation ....

Is they any "getting started" guide on instrument panel ? which explain some basic things on creation of macros, button ...

Or maybe an example project ?

thanks for your help

David

The PCAN-Explorer 5 is NOT a CANOpen Tool. It is a CAN Layer 2 Analyzer thet support Symbol Files (Signal based) and CANdb Import (Optional AddIn). You also could communicate with a CANOpen Network, but you need to know how CANOpen work in detail to use the PCAN-Explorer and the Panel to communicate with a CANOpen System. Better choice is a real CANOpen Tool. CANopen software

Hello,

Thanks for CanOpen Tools.

I'm will still need to do some panels and VBS, and I get a lot of difficulties to find what I expect in the help. Is they any full VBS example that I can use as "reference"

thanks

Please send E-Mail to support(at)peak-system.com with your serialnumber of the PCAN-Explorer Version, and we could send you the sample package of VBS macros.
