I have packed your library to .deb package.
I cannot post to this forum .deb extension file

. I can send it, if somebody has interest. It is much more convenient to do regular installation process than
"make install".

Hi,
Thank you for your work. We generally recommend to use the newer PCANBasic API from our latest driver package because we constantly improve it. Despite our best efforts, we can guarantee that those external and older packages are always compatible with all our software components as well as with all our hardware PC CAN interfaces. Please note that our own Debian repository will propose this package, as well as some others, soon, so that a simple "apt-get upgrade" will do the job.
Best regards,
— Stéphane
