Hi, I bought PCAN-Ethernet Gateway DR and I've tried many times to install Virtual PCAN-Gateway, on two different pc's win Win10 and Win8.1, but the result is always the same: at the end of installation process appear a message that indicates "unable to start service"
I have Administrator rights on both pc's
Pcan-view with Pcan-usb and pcan-basic work fine.
Please, help. Thx

Re: Virtual PCAN-Gateway service not started
Please chek that you used the latest Driver Package (see support page - download), your System is up to date (needed Microsoft Root Certificates) and please also chek that you have admin rights on this PC.
The Service is the Virtual PCAN-Gateway Service which try to start after the Setup. Please try to strat it manually - see Services - search for Virtual PCAN-Gateway
Have you restart the PC after the installation? If the manual triggered start also does not work, please contact us per E-Mail (support[at]peak-system.com)

Re: Virtual PCAN-Gateway service not started
We received it and will contact you directly-
-- problem solved - thread closed --
the problem was a setting in the Windows Firewall
FYI: The Virtual Gateway communicate via TCP and need also to accept incomming routes via TCP.
The Windows Firewall block this by default, our Setup open the ports which we need.
