Hello,
I use PCAN-Explorer 6, 6.3.6.2258 on Windows 10. I have an extended project where I have several files open, including a transmit list. When I save my projekt, the settings for each window including the column widths are stored. When opening my project again, everthing is restored, but not the column width of the transmit list (*.xmt). That is quite awkward, because I have several variables in the 'Data' column which have descriptive names, i.e. they are quite long. Every time I restart PCAN-Explorer and the project, I have to readjust the columns for the transmit list.
Best regards,

Request: Store column widths in transmit lists
Re: Request: Store column widths in transmit lists
Hi,
the widths of the columns in a Transmit list window are actually taken from the columns of the default Transmit list in the in the Receive/Transmit window. I admit this is awkward, but it has been fixed in the upcoming release 6.4.0, where the column widths are stored in the layout file of the project (*.dsk) separately for each Transmit list file, together with the information what columns are visible and in which order.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. The hint to the default Transmit list provides at least a workaround.
And I'm looking forward to the update.
