Format of the frames in transmission and reception

Post by amolina » Thu 25. Feb 2021, 18:10

Hello,

I have a doubt about the format of the frames in transmission and reception. I think that when I configurate and send a message the least significant bit is in the left side and when receive a frame the same, Is correct?
For example if I configure a transmission such as in the image, the least significant part is 12?

Thanks in advance.

If you talk about our PCAN-View Software Tool, you could setup here a CAN Frame - not more not less!
CAN Frames transmit the in a fixed order Data Bytes (DataByte 0 to max. Data Byte 7 on CAN2.0a/b, and up to DB63 on CAN-FD) - called Data frame
How your used high layer protocoll use this Databytes is up to you/the protocol and have absolutly nothing to do with the raw Layer 2 CAN
